The Asclepius Initiative's U.S. Health Care Coverage Survey (2024)

What Kentuckians Think of U.S. Health Care Coverage

The Asclepius Initiative crafted a survey to capture the views of 1,001 Kentucky adults on health care coverage and affordability, as well as their attitudes and beliefs about the U.S. health care system.

The online survey, conducted by Qualtrics in July and August 2024, provides a snapshot of the challenges that Kentuckians face with respect to the health care coverage system.

Survey participants were matched to Kentucky's demographics, including factors such as age, gender, race, insurance status, type of coverage, and urban versus rural residence.

The findings reveal significant problems affecting both insured and uninsured individuals, shedding light on the complex health care landscape in Kentucky and the growing desire for systemic change.
